Description
Tabular alumina is a kind of pure sintered corundum without adding any additives such as MgO, B2O3 and so on, with low shrinkage. It has a sheet crystal structure, small pores and more closed pores. It has high purity, good volume stability, and minimal reburning shrinkage. The resistant materials or castables used for production have good thermal shock stability and flexural strength after high temperature treatment. There are 5-10 /3 -6 /1 -3 /0 -1 /0 -0.045mm and other brands.

Applications
It can be used as the main components in aluminum-carbon, aluminum-magnesium-carbon, magnesia-aluminum-carbon, magnesia-spinel and aluminum-chromium refractory bricks, as well as in high aluminum amorphous refractories, and can be widely used in iron and steel, casting, ceramics and other industries. Its application in iron and steel industry almost covers the whole process of iron-making and steel-making.
